In our current western culture we are often told to believe in ourselves and make our own way. Surrendering to a higher power is deemed by many as foolish and uneducated. This painting is a declaration that my faith is my rock, and that by letting go of control I found true freedom; freedom that brought me out of the depths of despair and into the light.
